Cinnamon rolls

These cinnamon rolls are so soft and yummy you won’t be able to resist them. 🙂

2-4 person

PREPARATION

cca. 15-20 minutes + rising time cca. 1 hour

COOKING

cca. 35-40 minutes

INGREDIENTS

325 g white flour
50 g powdered sugar
70 g vegan butter or vegan margarine
1 small pack of fresh yeast (25 g)
1 pinch of salt
150 ml plant based milk

30 g vegan butter or margarine
3 tablespoon brown sugar
cinnamon

2-3 tablespoon soy yogurt or coconut yogurt
3-4 tablespoon powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS

Smash the fresh yeast with your hands into 100 ml lukewarm plant based milk and give it 5-10 minutes for rising. (If the plant based milk doesn’t contain sugar add 1 teaspoon sugar to it, because yeast needs sugar to start ferment and rise up) During the yeast is rising measure the flour and mix with the powdered sugar, melt the vegan butter in microwave oven and warm the remaining plant based milk a little (to be lukewarm) and mix them well.

Knead the dough for at least 2-3 minutes then place it in the oven to let it rest (rise) at 40C for an hour.

After one hour your dough will grow to huge…

Sprinkle a little flour on a baking paper then place the dough on it and roll out with a rolling pin into a large rectangle.

Melt 30 g vegan butter and top the dough with it and sprinkle with 3 tablespoon brown sugar,

then top with ground cinnamon,

and roll up with you hands,

then slice them, if you like it bigger cut them into cca. 5 cm pieces like me, but if you like it smaller cut thinner slices…

Place them in a pan, or in a round baking glass pan and let them rest cca. 15 minutes. Then bake them in preheated oven at 180C for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.

During the cinnamon rolls are baking mix 3 tablespoon soy or coconut yogurt with powdered sugar this will be the topping cream.

When the rolls cool down you can spread over with the yogurt mixture.
